During the previous season, the absence of Fred VanVleet necessitated that Amen Thompson and Reed Sheppard take on the roles of ball-handling and decision-making. This process was fraught with challenges, yet it was a crucial phase in their development. It is undeniable that this team is exceptional, excelling both offensively and defensively, and displaying a relentless competitive spirit. They are genuine contenders for the championship title. While I maintain my optimism for the Spurs, the Houston Rockets have impressed me as a team on par with any other. The only concern I have is whether they possess adequate shooting depth when the playoffs arrive.
