On November 18, 2008, in the Lloyd Noble Center of Norman, the matchup featured Davidson College versus Griffin's squad, which also included a 1.88-meter dual-threat guard named Curry. That evening, Curry demonstrated his prowess on the court, scoring effortlessly against the entire defense. His performance in Griffin's hometown of Edmond was particularly dazzling, where he amassed an incredible 44 points. Griffin, too, turned in a remarkable display. His athleticism allowed him to dominate on the boards and in the air, often overwhelming opponents with sheer physicality. He contributed 25 points and 21 rebounds to the team's effort.
